PortaChamp Odor Control is a concentrated formulation of natural, sub-micron size mineral particles that are known scientifically to eliminate odor on contact! Its fresh citrus scent provides a fresh air environment for the user but isn’t needed to mask odors like other products. PortaChamp Odor Control is also formulated with a proprietary low pH liquid that inhibits ammonia from gassing oR preventing noxious ammonia odor in portable toilets. This one-two punch formulation not only eliminates odors, but also the concern about “odor break through” on hot summer days or heavy traRic use during special events.
PortaChamp BioWerX is a highly specialized, all-natural living microbial formulation that liquifies solid waste rapidly while breaking down natural odor producing compounds. Many products claim to be microbial but are only enzymes. Enzymes do break down compounds, but if there aren’t enough enzymes, or if the formulation doesn’t contain enough specific enzymes, odor isn’t controlled, and waste isn’t liquified for easy pumping. Enzymes die quickly usually leaving insufficient levels to handle incoming waste.
BioWerX contains trillions of nine living microbial strains specific to human waste treatment. These microbes are in spore stage in the jug which means they are dormant until they are activated by water in a pH range above 4. When activated, these microbes begin eating the proprietary food source they are formulated in. Then, within 20 minutes they start producing the “right” enzymes for waste, converting that to a food source. Every 20 or 30 minutes, the microbes reproduce themselves, and continue to produce more and more enzymes. Once the waste is gone, the microbes go back into dormancy waiting for the next load.
